World Refugee Day

World Refugee Day is marked every year on 20 June. The Anne Frank house will host a webinar one week before this date to discuss ways of working with the online toolbox, also using the stories of young refugees that you can find in Stories that Move. We aim to contribute to your lessons, to help create empathy for refugees and insights into the complexity of questions related to building a new life in a new country.

Aims of the webinar:

• To help teachers and other educational professionals to discuss topics related to refugees with their students.
• To get to know the stories of young refugees.
• To learn how to use the online toolbox in the classroom.
