Stories that Move is improved!
26 Вер 2023 - По імені Stories that Move
We proudly present the new version of our online toolbox Stories that Move!
Over the past twelve months, we have been working hard to improve the toolbox. A team from the Anne Frank House, together with Eagerly – the company we worked with in 2015 to develop Stories that Move – analysed the user experience and incorporated new insights about digital learning into the make-over of the online toolbox. A group of young volunteers was engaged in developing new content, and the partners across Europe were essential to implement the changes in eight languages.
Curious to find out what’s new?
We’ve gathered the most important changes for you:
- Enriched with new stories
21 young people from Slovakia, Spain, the Netherlands and Ukraine share their experiences in short videos. They talk about standing up for LGBTQI+ rights, discrimination based on appearance, racism in the housing market and about staying positive despite it all. Do you want to start a conversation about discrimination with your students? Watch one of the new videos in class to introduce the topic with a personal story.
- New content: Small but significant changes have been made to the content, following consultations with a panel of young advisers and educators. For example, we have updated the adverts in the learning path 4 Mastering the media.
- More user friendly: The number of clicks has been reduced; you can now scroll through the assignments.
- More flexible: The toolbox can now be used on smartphone, tablet and laptop.
- More accessible: The new design is easier to use for people with visual impairments, in line with the latest web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
